power mirrors

the list is getting shorter Since I first got the car in 2015,the fact that the power mirrors didn't work was not that big a deal, there were more important things to fix and the list was long. Today I used an old trick and it worked like magic. I knew power was getting to the switch so I removed it, removed the outer shell and very. very ,carefully drilled a three thirty second hole in one end and gave it a shot of WD40. Gave it a gentle shot of air to disperse the oil and wiped it dry. Snapped it back together and installed it. VOILA! happiness

Re: power mirrors

What would we do without WD40? You can even use it on your arthritic knees, and to clean your loo.

If you're a contortionist, you can do both at the same time.
