I have just had my second MOT and received an advisory notice that the front brake pipes were rubbing on the suspension and had worn a flat on the rubber hose.

Although there is still a fair bit of rubber left I am getting them replaced with braided hose.

It may be worth other members checking theirs as the consequence of excessive wear could be rather serious.
