Hi all
Can anyone suggest where the fuse and relay is located for the windows?
I've checked the passenger side fuse box, under the bonnet by the bulkhead all fuses ok. Does any one know the fuse number?
There is no power at the motor in passenger door, so I doubt the motors are shot.

Thanks

Kevin

Could be the window control relay. Mine suffers from a bad connection, so you might want to try just cleaning the connectors.
It's located behind the passenger side glovebox cover, the biggest and the one most left of the relays. Turn on the ignition, and try pressing the relay firmer onto it's socket, and you'll hear if it activates or not.

Guys,

many thanks for the replies, I'll give it a go tonight.

Regards

Mine get terribly slow in the winter and damp weather, I have cleaned them, used contact spray on them etc etc etc and am yet to find a perm solution to the issue. Best advice is not to wind the windows down until the summer!

graphite powder or white grease should do the trick and get you through the cold season :)

Tricky one, there are about 3 fuses for the electric windows, I burned one of them as I did a small shortcut on the wire which goes to electric motor - the one on the passenger side under the dash at the feet. it's kinda hidden and there are not many fuses there -check them all. Another one is near the battery and another one under some plastic in the engine bay behind the engine where is the control unit of the windows.
