I've got a DTR twin pipe system and I'm having some problems getting it to fit.

I can't get the tail pipes to line up horizontally. They are fouling on the rear valance.

Has anybody else had problems with this system? Do I have to modify the rear valance, or am i doing something wrong?

If it's too wide it will have to be modified to fit, but maybe worth giving DTR a call as I'm sure they have fitted plenty in the past.

I'll give them a call in the morning.

I'll be a bit upset if I've got to cut the car about though. There was no mention of this when I bought the system.

i got one of from dtr, wasthere when it was fitted and dont remenber any body beening touched, mine is the twin oval box i had the complete system inc down pipe

The twin oval system is the one that I've got. I've just had another look at my fitting job and I've been trying to get the system to exit too high up.

The aperture that the pipes exit through at the rear of the car gets narrower towards the top. I think I need to adjust the system so that it exits lower.


I'll have another go one night this week, as soon as the rain stops.
