Hello all!

Does anyone know if I require anything special to install an aftermarket radio?
I have just installed one, but for some reason, when I am driving the radio is playing up..
It has a mind of its own and beeps ..
Everything is plugged in correctly. It is either a faulty radio ( which is weird because it is new ) Or I am missing something ?
Not sure if anyone on here has experienced this before.
Any help is welcome.
Thanks

It should be pretty standard but FIAT did slightly deivate from the ISO standard for wiring as I note in this article:
I can't see how that would affect the vehicle when driving. That article came out of digging we did in this thread

Hi AAron500. As Wiltshire Chris mentioned, it may be that your car's wiring doesn't match the factory version of what it should be... ours certainly doesn't and this caused all sorts of weird behaviour by the after-market head unit. We ended up paying an audio electrician to fit it so that it would work without problems :)
