The world doctors alliance is wholly unreliable it's chairman has been suspended . https://www.bmj.com/content/370/bmj.m2714 Members on here have experienced cv19 first hand , their experiences are worth listening too. Some members have had very mild symptoms others have suffered very seriously indeed. No one can predict the extent of symptoms , potential for death or long term disability for an individual. I’m a bit angry at the moment, but I pride myself in being fair, but wouldn’t it be a wake up call to take this individual around a COVID ward with no protection for him and see what would happen ![]()

One of the characters is offered two pills, a red pill leads to the "truth", or as it turns out a waste of the next 90 minutes! The other, blue pill doesn't lead to an all night stiffy, but "ignorance". But it's all a work of fiction, thought it worth mentioning just in case anybody might get confused! Yep, still alive after the vaccine. 9 days and counting. There are a few side effects that are quite common though. Archy chills seem pretty standard for a day or two and a pain in the arm around the injection site seems to linger on a bit as well.

I’m a bit angry at the moment, but I pride myself in being fair, but wouldn’t it be a wake up call to take this individual around a COVID ward with no protection for him and see what would happen ![]() Totally understandable to be feeling angry at the moment, hope you anger subsides soon. It would be good if the deniers could have a first hand view(with correct protection) of the distress , pain , suffering that cv19 is causing throughout the globe. Unfortunately there would still be a sizable number of deniers who would say that it was all a set up using fakery, actors etc The recent USA election held normally , all the usual checks in place , when all the votes were in and counted Donald Trump lost. Throw in a conspiracy theory(no evidence required or provided) the people who feel hard done by leap upon it as true. There are still people who deny the holocaust was perpetrated by Nazis, despite , witness states, filmed war crime trials, films of the extermination camps, the Nazis own meticulously kept records, survivor statements, documentary films of the camps, ariel photos taken by allied reconnaissance aircraft, souvenirs kept by some of the camp guards and the remaining infrastructure of the extermination mechanism. Gosh that's is very downbeat. Remember it appears there is light ahead Keep protecting each other , wash hands, Give space(2metres minimum, not get as close to the 2meters as you can! More distance is better if you have the room) Wear a mask out of respect to others. Good luck everyone

There's a saying about 'assume', it makes an 'ass' out of 'u' and 'me'. Just as you think there is light at the end of the tunnel, it's a train coming. ![]()

Posts: 26,676 Thanks: 1029 Trader Rating: 0 ![]() | This nails it (and especially the last bit. Personally, I've always admired the teachings of the Giant Spaghetti Monster, but I wouldn't trust my life to it in a crisis.) As for facts, the killer fact (in more senses than one) is that there have been 85,000 excess deaths in the UK in the last year, compared to an average of the previous 5 years - and that figure is only up to last November, so the current spike in deaths will cause it to increase still further. The only rational explanation for that increase is ... COVID-19. Just because something is on the internet doesn't mean that it is true. And as for that world-leading scientific source, the Conservative Woman website ... *clutches pearls* You dont have to look far to see some Pre.Covid articles of reasonable depth https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-42734109

Frequently, new strains appear in the southern hemisphere long before it arrives here, giving us a chance to be ready. Or less surprised. If the current pandemic is 'just the flu', why is it affecting every country in the world, whilst half of the world is mid-summer.

That’s why these people want to ‘Debate’ because they think they have clever arguments to counteract anything you have to say. Except we don’t need to debate there is plenty of actual evidence out there.
