Cleaning all the wax pen marks off of my latest acquisition today. A 2012 500c when I noticed there’s a crack in the windscreen so I will have to replace it.

I then noticed what looks like an element in the window which I can only assume is the radio aerial as being a convertible it doesn’t have a roof one.

Am I right in my assumption? If so, is there an alternative to a screen aerial? I don’t really want the added expense of that when I can replace with a normal screen for £140.

Admin. I’ve just realised I’ve put this in the 500x section rather than the 500. Can it be moved?

My wife's 65 plate 500c has a radio aerial in the rear side window, driver's side. Don't know if there's another in the windscreen, but reception seems quite good.

Perhaps they moved the aerial as part of the 2015 facelift?

I reckon they did as it’s on the drivers side in the U.K. of course. Your eye is drawn to it. I guess you don’t notice it after a while. Interestingly my windscreen man has said it’s own £10 more.
