I don’t have a lap top but noticed you can download the ecu multiscan to an iPad or iPhone. As a 500 owner it looks like I need a ELM327 Wi-Fi Car Diagnostic Interface and a yellow lead? I’m tempted to buy a few of the coloured leads as I’ve then got them. Gendan have the kit but it’s more expensive as the Bluetooth adapter is £25 plus the leads. I’m thinking of buying the wifi elm from Gendan and the coloured leads from eBay or Amazon Unless anybody can provide links that they have bought from and worked with no issues.
Thanks

I might just buy the lead set from Gendan. Is anybody using it with an iPad or iPhone? If I buy the elm 327 Wi-Fi does that allow programming with the paid version of the software or am I better with a hard wired elm and finding a lap top?
Thanks

Wifi will always have less security..

If you are only reading codes.. or data its probably ok

What you dont want is a lost connection when running a re.learn !

That’s what I was worried about, I might look at finding a wired elm 327
