Hi all 2010 500 when eco button pushed there's no light on dash any suggestions much appreciated

Presumably the Twinair engine? From memory, the word ECO appears in the instrument binnacle.

Just checked the manual, which I still have on my tablet. ECO appears in the centre of the speedo display when selected.

Does the drive change?

Could be the switch.. not the indicator lamp..

I'm not really sure how would I notice the change in drive any tips I can use her car tomorrow to check it out

If it's a twinair? there will be a noticeable loss in power and the steering will be much lighter. Should be very hard to miss.

If you push the button while under acceleration you should feel a distinct surge in power when it cuts in. but the easiest way is to move the wheel at standstill (motor running); if it gets noticeably heavier the ECO has switched off; noticeably lighter it's on.

Tried the steering test and drove it yesterday but no change when pushing the eco button any more suggestions much appreciated

Button may be at fault..

Does it not have a light in it?

My TA's do.. but not in 500's


It may be that MES can trigger the dash icon.. cheaper than a dealer visit
