A friend has an intermittent warning message.

She says it comes up with something like “insufficient oil pressure”.

The message only comes up for a couple of seconds then disappears. It seems to be when I turn sharply it comes up.

My initial thought is oil pump?

Any ideas anyone?

That’s what I said to her. She said she thinks it is ok but she is blonde ???

Low oil level or a lot of build up of crud in the sump the occasionaly blocks the pick up
Would be my first two guess

I'd be parking it until I knew the answer

Change the oil and filter, and give the rest of the engine a once over see how it seems?
