I'll take you up on this! Daughters 2008 has occasional flashing mileage. Cars in nottingham at the mo with her at uni. Shes coming home for xmas. I'll be in touch. I won't come empty handed as still need to say a proper thanks for the rear bumper advice about 12 months ago.

The instrument cluster currently on the Punto doesn't have 'door open' indicator or a light in the boot so only assuming it doesn't have a switch.

I’ve taken the boot interior to pieces twice there is no switch.

Well I must have missed the switch off the seatbelt alarm, I'll have a look at that tomorrow.


Only reason is we have quite a long drive with a gate at the bottom which we have to open, time we drive down there the seat belt alarm is going off, I am not putting on the seatbelt on my drive to take it back off to open the gate.

Most calls for MES help..and relearns..

With the grande is to get the timing sensors back in sync..
Following half.baked cambelt swaps.

Any idea what brought about your issues?

I did notice all the 'lauberhorn' stuff while I had MES on my mj last week.

How has the Punto been since I did the proxi-alignment for you?

Terry came round yesterday afternoon. His blue and me module seems to be dead as it’s not being detected by any other ECUs therefore proxy alignment wouldn’t work. He’s going to get another module and then we’ll try again.

Hi Robert
Apologies for not replying earlier. The display is working fine, I've noticed that the headlight level indicator flashes 0 after first switching on and won't respond to adjuster switch, then after a while flashes on 1-3 and then after a time stays solid and responds to adjuster switch. Do we need to select this as a feature when doing the proxy alignment. The auto transmission light is still flashing under the black tape but not an issue.

What else? Blue and me not working? It’s normally combined with something else. PM me, I can do it for you next weekend. I’m only 10 minutes from j4 of the M25 in Orpington.
