Does anybody know how to disconnect the plug from accelerator pedal assembly? White thing looks like some kind of retaining clip. Does it pull up?

Yes, the white 'retaining clip' pushes upwards I used a flathead to push it up as was stiff! Once this has been released slide in the screwdriver to release a second tab; which holds the connector in.


Its a little fiddly but you should get it off fine!

Perfect! Thanks There is not a lot of room but it always helps if you know exactly what to do Actually tried taking the pedal assembly off but it doesn't help much since the wire is not very long.
