Ok so I picked up my new 500 lounge on Thursday. Set up the blue&me to my Iphone5 with no problems, both telephone and media player functions were working perfectly. After a short trip I unplugged my phone, before switching the engine off which I hadn't previously done. Next time I got in the car it would recognise the phone was plugged into the USB port even though it is charging so clearly plugged in! Ive tried plugging it in when the car is running, before I start the car, tried a different cable...no luck. :bang: Any ideas how to make this work again?

I had this a few months ago, after asking my local dealer if there was a quick fix (they said no) I just did a quick battery disconnect and it's been fine ever since.

Hi there , I know it's a new car but does the blue and me need a update ? You can do this by going on to the fiat.com website and go to blue and me section ....... Otherwise pop it back to the dealer

would advise pairing the phone again. if it still does not work, you can try updating as "Scd" mentioned via the fiat.com website. all you need is a blank usb stick. and they give you step by step instructions.
if its a bit out your depth then nip it back to the dealer you got the car from and ask the salesman to get it sorted..
or again as mentioned above, try disconnecting and re connecting the battery "earth lead". you may need to pair the phone to the car again after doing this.

Keep in mind though, you just paid a lot of money for the car. taking it straight back could be an option..
