Hi,
I'm new to the forum but having an issue and looking for some advice....
My Fiat 500 1.2 Pop is 11 months old has done 10,400 miles. I use it pretty much everyday, I do an average of 40 miles a day and most of it is out of town.
I started to feel a "judder" through the brake pedal, thought maybe there was a bit of corrosion on the discs so braked hard a few times but the "judder" continued so I took my car back to the dealership I bought it from. I'm being told the disks are corroded and I need to have the discs and pads replaced, I'm also being told it's not covered by the warranty and it's going to cost £255.42! I'm pretty horrified to be honest. The first service isn't due until 18k miles and I'm still on the first set of tyres - I suspect the discs are warped, because I can feel the "judder" and I'm not sure I'd feel corrosion so much but I'm not an expert by any stretch of the imagination.
Any advice really appreciated. Ta
