Buona Serra Cuchu, come sta?

Thinking of cinquecento's and Milano takes me back to 1967, my first trip to Italy with my parents. A big feature of Italian city life then was FIAT 500's, seemingly the dominant life form, all driven flat out everywhere!

I have to say that I have considered getting 16" wheels and climate control added but as I'm buying the car with no discounts and no scrapage, the cost would be silly.

Had some disappointing news today.
I thought I would call the dealer for an update, and he told me that the car had 'just' gone in for build. The same update they gave me at the beginning of September! I know that they don't have much info until the car rolls off the truck onto the forecourts. I just hope he is wrong and the car will turn up this month as estimated, because another 2 1/2 month wait will be horrible!

Well you won't be able to make any changes. To be honest if you can afford the 16" upgrade and climate control then you can't afford the car. Not trying to say that you can't afford it or anything, just that you can afford the options which at the end of the day make the car more to your liking.

Definitely I sometimes think you should go all out though

Our car started off as a Sport with split fold rear seats, side rubbing strip and climate control and after a few changes ended up a Lounge with red leather, side rubbing strip and 16" multispokes which is just the way we wanted it. I know it's a little indulgent but I think you should go with the big things with a new car if you're going to hang onto it

Well finally after a 17 week wait my dealer has called to say that they will be getting my car sometime next week. Still not sure when I will actually be able to collect it, but it can't be much longer.
Good news for Christmas, after the initial 14 week due date came and went I was majorly disappointed. Still, won't believe till I see it. Once bitten...
