Thanks to Carphone warehouse there is a raffle for a Nokia Bluetooth Camera phone and it's only a quid & a bit in. It's just a matter of paypal me £1.27 with your FF user name to [email protected] and I'll put a ticket in the bucket that going to be drawn in just over 3 weeks

You're not thick just because you haven't donated via paypal before. A lot of people don't have paypal accounts and of those that do, there are some (myself included) who haven't used email as a method of payment previously.
As you may have seen from my previous post I was apprehensive and until I got a confirmation email from paypal wasn't certain Jim had got my dosh.
