I suspect the image you have formed in your head of Alfatwo is very wrong!
Really? then why does he never back up his claims?

I' m not say that some of his claims are anything other than tongue in cheek. But I have seen some foto's and read about some of his projects in the past, he is or was in the business of building/restoring modifying cars the ones I've heard of being mainly Italian.Really? then why does he never back up his claims?
Exactly! It's not impossible that you can get 120 bhp out of a 1.2 or that someone might have got a yeye green Abarth or even that he fitted the updated rear end to his car (entirely possible!) but the fact that he never backs anything up with evidence.Really? then why does he never back up his claims?
But when people question his claims he never says "Oh I was joking" and if not admitting that he's just having a joke is his idea of a joke then it's a pretty poor one at that.I' m not say that some of his claims are anything other than tongue in cheek. And I'd be surprised if your image of his appearance is right
I don't see any dyno sheets for 120bhp 500's there, no Ye Ye Green 500 Abarth's and no pictures of him changing the rear axle on his car.Take a look at these photos'
http://www.alfa.me.uk/dave.html
I'm not saying he's not capable.Surely if he can build the race cars on there changing the rear axle is a posiblity
I've got as much right as anyone else on here It's not just me either as you can plainly see.Why do you feel you have the right to demand proof? If you choose to not believe him that's your decision.
Liars come in all shapes and formsBut did the pictures match the image in your head?
Boo-frickin-hoo. That's the way forums work. If you're going to say something that seems a bit unlikely then you're going to get asked to prove it.That'll be none, then
What? Asking for proof? YesIs this behaviour typical of your mentality?
Yeah 100bhp/L is not impossible at all. It would just be interesting to see what work was required to get it there if AlfaTwo is actually has actually got 120 horsies out of his 1.2. Like you say if he is getting that much horsepower he's being extremely unhelpful.Well perhaps those of us here with our 1.2s would like a little help in finding all those extra horses, but without accusing anyone of being a liar, each time a follow up question is asked there is no response whatsoever. The Panda rally cars are rated at around 120bhp so we all know it is possible.
It is the nature of the beast with short wheel base cars, I'm afraid although I don't consider it too bad. It has improved with the Eibach springs though.
That's a piece of info that they haven't included on their webpage. They only list it for 1.3 & 1.4.
