Having read the rather childish moans about the Funk White in the flesh, has anyone a good photo of a funk white next to a bossa nova white ?

I'm not interested in who likes/dislikes the colour as it's all down to personal preference.

My parents recently came back from Italy and reported seeing loads in a 'pearlescent white' and my mum prefered it to the 'normal white'.

I'd prefer an outdoor shot if anyone can help.

It would have to be bloody good to justify 700 quid (to me). Would rather spend the money on other toys?

I've just seen a 08 plater Honda S2000 in a pearl white/cream today at work and from looking at the photos of the 500 Funk White, I think the Honda was more or less the same colour and it's really put me off to be quite blunt. It looks to girly and I thought it'd be much more of a white than mother of pearl.

I'm now thinking that I need to go back at look at the mini cooper diesel which I don't like as much in some ways but think it maybe a more sensible investment for long term re-sale.

Has anyone read a good mini vs 500 review other than the little circuit test fifth gear did ?

I'm mainly concerned about poor handling and road noise from the test drive I had.
