As per the title really, I'm new here but not new to Fiats, I owned a broom yellow Fiat Punto GT for ten years, I sold it and bought a Seat Ibiza but never felt the same lurve for it as my GT so I have faced up to Fiat-itis and ordered a new 500

Just got to wait to hear from the dealer to find out how long I have to wait!

I know what you mean about GT's, fantastic cars! Well done in ordering a 500, you shouldn't have to wait too long, but least you have something good to look forward to I've had my 1.4 500 for about 3 months now and its better than my old GT, just can't wait to get my hands on the New 500 Abarth!!!

:wave: I have ordered a 1.4 sport in Bosa Nova white with a red stripe.

The dealer couldn't check on availability today with it being bank holiday, the sales guy isn't in until Wednesday so I have to wait until then to find out when I can have it. Hopefully, as it is standard apart from the stripe it won't be too long, everything crossed (am not very good at waiting - I want it now)

Sikersh - nice to hear of another ex GT owner with a 500, glad you are enjoying yours.

Welcome to the forum! As I understand, you are ordering standard 1.4 with only one added option which is the stripe? Have you thought about getting one from stock (and there IS stock laying around) and getting the stripe later? That way you wouldn't need to wait at all...

I had a similar response to checking stock from Mangoletsi in Knutsford, ended up going with Warrington Fiat and the sales manager & I sat down, with the Fiat system last week Sat 17 May.

I ended up with a 1.4 lounge in metallic dark blue ( mod I think) and the auto climate control, could have had a white one but ended up with the blue as I didnt want the stripes.

Anyway, collected it on 23 May, less than a week later, so if the dealer cant be bothered to log on to the system, I would take my custom elsewhere!

If you want the details of the guy I used in Warrington, happy to pass these on.

:wave: the dealer did say that could be an option if there is a standard one available, they could fit the stripe at the dealership.

I'm gonna envy you that 6th. gear.

Good choice with the 1.4 Sport, it will feel a bit sluggish at first, but once the engine is run in around 2000 miles you'll think its a different car!!! I've shown a few of the bigger cars up at traffic lights lets put it that way....:devil:
