Good evening.

i have a problem with my little uno, recently it died on me (fuel pump relay burned out) so i got a new one (bloody expensive btw...) and replaced it ... now when i turn the key i can hear the relay comming on but the pump is not responding... however when i bridge 30 and 87b (i think thats correct) the pump comes on and i can start the engine for as long as the pump gets fed directly....
i hope this is explained well enough, oh.. and the fuse is ok....
ive checked both ecu`s and there is nothing wrong with them
its a 1986 model (1301 ccm engine i think...) i really dont know what im supposed to do now... please help!

i left my haynes in the garage (not even the allmighty haynes could help me with this problem) i have no access to it right now... ill check tommorrow.

The fuel pump usually does not come on until the flap in the air flow meter is moved. When you turn your key on, and manually push the flap on the air flow meter, you should hear it come on.

Eric.
