DPF and EGR delete W/out hardware delete

As the title suggests, I was wondering what the risks are of getting the software delete done without the hardware being changed?
It is a 1.6 multijet 2 equipped Doblo. At the moment, I haven't seen any EGR or DPF hardware fixes, but there is plenty of software upgrades.
Can I delete the EGR and DPF without removing them physically?
Thanks.

Dpf definitely not it will continue to build up particles until it starts to block up and will eventually make the car undriveable due to restricted performance due the dpf being blocked

Thanks for the reply. I have done some more reading up on how these two systems operate. I didn't know they were seperate systems. I was under the impression they work together.
I will leave the DPF as is, especially considering the cost to get it removed and modified. There also doesn't seem to be any reported issues on the 1.6 multijet 2 and DPF's.
The EGR however will be getting blanked and tuned out. In saying that, can anyone point me to a guide or blanking plate part number to achieve this?

Thanks.

There doesn't seem to be much information out there for this EGR, let alone a blanking plate.
I might buy some aluminium and make my own.

Can't speak for this engine but I know a lot of cars you can't just block them off as it with out the car into limp mode as it moniters the gases that pass through it

Yes. I know that. It will get blocked and deleted. I was just wondering if anyone has blocked this one before?
