My exhaust is blowing which is making me feel slightly light headed whilst sitting in traffic. The rear section of the zorst was changed at the MOT 11 months ago so im guessing its the front.

My question is basically how much should it cost to have this sorted? its only a k reg 1.4 so doesnt warrent having a stainless one or anything like that and im only planning on keeping it another year.

So how much should i be paying to have it sorted?

Without moggy? Around £30-£40 from a decent motor factors for a new front pipe.

Moggy? a cat im guessing, no it dont have a cat. I was hoping to get kwik fit or somewhere to do it for me, getting under the tipo is such an effort as it wont go on ramps

It does if you can find 2x 3 foot lengths of scafolding board, placed half way up the ramp. that lessens the angle enough to get the wheels off the floor before the skirt hits the ramps...

As for Kwik-Knack all I can suggest is phoning around.

if anyone is intersted im getting front pipe and middle box bit done tomorow and its costing me £86, dunno if this is good or bad but seems fair to me

getting a full stainless steel from cat back for £219... £86 for part of it sounds the thick end of the wedge

hellcat are you getting this done, can you photo the bends on the system, I have seen really rubbish bends where the pipe diameter reduces by loads on the bend. I'm trying to avoid this for my car when the time comes.

Sure thing Rich. I'm not sure what diameter pipe they will be bending but the samples on their website look okay. You want me to ask about if they could produce a racing exhaust while I'm there?

sure, single silencer 2inch 2.125max, stainless, no fat chrome tail, infact a mid box with a bit on the end would do as a back box.
