Whilst I've remembered my login, I thought I'd post this which happened a few weeks ago.

Really hot day so went to turn on the air con and it was completely dead. Also not working were the steering wheel control buttons so I suspected a fuse.

Tracked down the one to change - it's hidden behind the glove box and was the last one accessible with a pair of long nosed pliers before the others disappeared out of view deeper into the car. Christ knows how I'll ever change them if needed....

So, with a bit of a steady hand and a head torch (which was really helpful here) I managed to swap it over and everything worked again.

This is what is worrying me about installing a hardwired dashcam....the location of the fuse box isn't particularly well thought out on this car.

Hello,

I think I might have another fuse issue - I've looked at the other threads on fuses and a few fuse diagrams on the web but am still a bit confused...

Where's the front drivers door lock fuse on a RHD?

Looking at the internet, it's shown to the left of the steering wheel but I can't work out if that's on a RHD or a LHD. I've been out to mine - I can't see it. It may be slightly poking out from behind a big bit of trim. I'm guessing I need to remove this maybe to gain access to the fuse box? Looks a nightmare...

Or - is it within the fuse box found underneath the passenger side glove compartment on a RHD version? I've had that off before (as above) but the internet is - I think - telling me it isn't there?

Cheers!

oh, the fault is that the key fob doesn't always unlock the drivers door but all the others open fine. Thought I'd change the fuse before investigating further.
