2018 reg. Not driven much but code P044A came up and will not accelerate. This is the same engine in many vehicles including the Corsa.
I suspect the fault is in the PCB that drives the spindle which is built in to the EGR body. I have got a S/H replacement and am trying to remove
the current EGR but unable to see how to release the stainless steel flexi pipe held on my a circular clamp? Any ideas please?
Its only done 6,ooo miles with very few local runs.
I bought it with 34 miles on the clock and it had been standing at the dealership for a year and when collected they had same problems but
cleared it and changed oil for my long journey home.
Been a superb car otherwise, 64mpg normally.
