how big is the inlet diameter for the cinq 900?? hopefully something near 2.25 inches?

IIRC, the GrpN on mine had a diameter of at least 2" (well 54mm to be exact!)

TM, Fair Punt mate, The GrpN is 54mm thru-out, from the centre section to the tailpipe.

When you say inlet diameter, do you mean inlet valve, inlet manifold?
But either way, it's nothing like 2.5 inches.

If the question is will that backbox fit the Cinq. Yes

It may need a reducer installing on the pipe to make it a bit bigger (dont ask), but Im fairly sure that the std Cinq system is 2" thru out, so with a bit of expansion, I reckon it can be made to fit a 2 and 1/4" pipe!

the cinq 900 exhaust is smaller in diameter on the pipework than the sporting by a noticeable difference so i would say that exhaust wouldnt fit without a lot of work.
