I have a 2001 Seicento. It has a hole in the metal fuel line. What is the diameter of the fuel line. I'm hoping to replace just a section of the corroded lines. Thanks

I dunno.. but pipes (outer diameter) tend to be based on the olde style Imperial system;

3/16" (e.g. brake pipes) = 4.76mm
1/4" = 6.35mm
5/16" = 7.9mm

I'd hazard a guess that the pipe is 6.35mm.

What are you going to do - use something like "brake pipe" and unions, to make a hard connection, or use a bit of rubber injector hose and Jubilee clips to join the old and new sections?

Whichever route you go make sure you put a flare on the end of the old (steel) pipe, otherwise it's bound to leak.

The supply is 100% 8mm ID. They are like nylon lines under the car which have a much smaller wall thickness so maybe dont seem as large but they are 8mm i promise. Been a long time since i messed with a cento but i'm 99.9% sure the return is same size as the feed - on older fiats like pandas and unos it was 8mm ID feed and 6mm ID return but from cento and punto kinda age fiats are 8mm for both.
