Grande Punto Ysidfas White T-Jet

Introduction

Hey guys! Picked up my new ride yesterday, and Im madly in love with it already!

Spec:
- 59 Reg 1.4 16v T-jet Sporting 120bhp
- Bossa Nova White
- Panoramic (Skydome) Sunroof
- Optional extra 5 Spoke 17" alloys
- Factory Rear window tints

I can honestly say, Its fast!!! Coming from driving a 65bhp 1.2 8v active GP, Double the power and almost tripple the torque is such a nice feeling! Pulls to 70 (and a bit more ;) ) sooo easily!

The panoramic sunroof really sets the car off! especially with the 5 spokes :)

Plans:
- Team Heko Wind deflectors (Bought need fitting)
- Re-vinyl pillars and rear roof section to make the whole roof gloss black
- Eibach Sportlines
- Spend countless hours keeping it spotlessly clean (already filty after doing 100 miles on soaking wet roads :( )
- Forge/GSR intake
- Remap

Not 100% sure on tuning it up for serious power (vl36 A500 turbo ect) but its early days yet ;)

Thoughts and comments all appreciated :)
I may be wrong but I think its a custom Cobra system from Exhausts uk :)

Cobra Sport from Exhausts Uk :)

Where exactly is it located?

Undernieth the little bit of central console infront of the handbrake, theres 2/3 cables coming from it that dont have anything to do with the handbrake mech :s

Sounds unbelievable. Love it. If i could warrant that much on a bit of metal underneath i'd love to get an exhaust done for mine, but...doubt it will ever.

Not long till Brooklands. Bring change for nuggets ;)

I think he meant what did you think of them ;) I hope they treated you well since I recommended you :p

Yeah thats what I meant but I didnt realise DlightSwitch had been before.

They did a good job with mine, except they didnt replace the bolts for the airbox after fitting the manifold. It now flies off now and again, which sounds amazing but obviously is not good for the engine (y)

Mini-update.

I really need to get on here more!
Started saving for a holiday recently so mods are on a back burner for now :(
I spent some decent money on a load of detailing supplies a couple of weeks ago and spent a couple of days catching up with my car!
Washed, clayed, then I used a kit from PolishedBliss called Werkstat Acyrlic, consists of Acrylic Prime, Jett and Glos. Basically a pre-seal cleanser, sealant and a quick detailer. Its been on a few weeks now, while it gives a beautful crisp glossy shine, it doesnt bead nearly half as good as waxes Ive previously used :/ Its designed for people who dont have time for spending decades on thier cars. So, come payday I will be investing in a new wax :D
Im thinking along the lines of DodoJuice Super Natural or Diamond White. Ive also heard good things about R222 waxes. Anyone got any views?

Bonjour :D
Been a while since I posted on here, been so busy with college and a little project that me and a friend set up a month or two back.
Lets start with a pic :)

I dedicded to go back to wax :) Using what Collinite 915 I have left for the moment until I get some better colour specific wax, love the beading it gives :D

I know I said mods were on the back burner but I decided to spend my pocket money on a debadged grill from the classifieds, Brand new £35 delivered, couldnt say no!

Instead of just pulling at the stock grill till it came out, I decided to waste my time and take off the undertray and the front bumper to save from damaging it, Lesson learnt: Wear safety specs when laying under a car taking an undertray off! My eyes were murdered by grit and muck :bang:(n)
But eventually, the bugger came off and the grills were swapped :D
Whilst working I came across these.

anyone got any ideas what they are?
They wernt plugged into anything just dangling loose taped together on the passenger side behind the fog light loom?
I searched for ages to find plugs for them :/

After giving up, I wacked the bumper back on and the undertray too,
Put her to bed for the night and got up early to crack on with giving her a good wash :)

Love those towels! Sooooo soft and can easily dry a whole car no problems!
Snowfoamed, Washed using Two bucket method and epicly soft lambswool mit, sheeted, dried, wheels cleaned using Bilbery and a AF hog brush and a quick coat of AF quick detailer :)

Thanks for reading!
Ps. probably get in trouble for this but if anyone is interested, the side project me and a friend have set up is an instagram page dedicated to detailing enthusiasts. We repost and tag peoples photos of shiney, glossy and clean cars! We also sell stickers ;)
