Grande Punto Ysidfas White T-Jet

Introduction

Hey guys! Picked up my new ride yesterday, and Im madly in love with it already!

Spec:
- 59 Reg 1.4 16v T-jet Sporting 120bhp
- Bossa Nova White
- Panoramic (Skydome) Sunroof
- Optional extra 5 Spoke 17" alloys
- Factory Rear window tints

I can honestly say, Its fast!!! Coming from driving a 65bhp 1.2 8v active GP, Double the power and almost tripple the torque is such a nice feeling! Pulls to 70 (and a bit more ;) ) sooo easily!

The panoramic sunroof really sets the car off! especially with the 5 spokes :)

Plans:
- Team Heko Wind deflectors (Bought need fitting)
- Re-vinyl pillars and rear roof section to make the whole roof gloss black
- Eibach Sportlines
- Spend countless hours keeping it spotlessly clean (already filty after doing 100 miles on soaking wet roads :( )
- Forge/GSR intake
- Remap

Not 100% sure on tuning it up for serious power (vl36 A500 turbo ect) but its early days yet ;)

Thoughts and comments all appreciated :)
Nice one mate, I have sent you an email asking about your address etc, do you want me to paypal you now mate? I need to get a courier organised mate and I cant do that until I have the length and weight and most important your address?

Regards
Stephen

Wait until Ive got the exhaust off the car so I can be sure its not damaged ect and then Ill measure it all up and package it up with lots of bubblewrap and stuff. Then you can pay me :)

Update Time!! :D

Fair bits been going on over the last couple of days.
1st, the car got a good clean yesterday morning, even if the temperature was around freezing. Gave the inside a good hoover and shampooed my mats :D
I then went up for a catch up with an mate who was back from uni. I knew he was a keen media student and I found out he had a new lens he wanted to try out.. these are the results...

I was damn impressed! Hopefully more of those to come soon!!!

2nd thing..
You probably already know Ive been waffling on about getting my exhaust sorted. I dragged my self out of bed at 6am this morning and hauled off to Sheffield with a couple of mates. Obviously stopped for a MacDonalds breakfast wrap!! Took a quick snap with snowy hill in the background.

Then scooted round the corner to Exhausts UK/Cobra Sport!

After enjoying there comfortable waiting room and free coffee, sadly no PS2 though, for a few hours It was done. A Stainless steel Cat back. I decided upon a Midbox, but without a back box with a twin 70mm slash cut tip neatly tucked under the bumper!

Although It might be a tad loud for some, after the 70 mile drive home, the note of the exhaust changed completely from a tinny raspy roar to a grumbly, burbling growl! I am absolutely chuffed!!!
Ill stop waffling now..

Hope you enjoy!

Just seen your update on here, good work :) you got the same setup and tip as me :) what inch pipe did you get?

I decided on a 2.5" all the way from the flex, with a short midbox :) the mid box sits about 10cm from the floor so I think if I went for a thicker diameter pipe it would be a scrape hazard! I was gonna go for a powerflow but changed my mind after seeing a few peoples cobra set ups :)

Haha exactly the same as me. Most people get 2 1/4 inch. Yeah I think so mate, I do need to go back to get mine checked as it knocks on the bumper when I have a full car.

Catchupdate time :D

Been a hectic few weeks at work and I feel like Ive negelected my MM thread, so I thought Id put a bit up :)
Been working flat out over the last few weeks and as the weathers been getting better, the car needed a good clean. So I started out a few weeks ago by using some of @Liam Ferrets tinting spray and did my side repeaters

There quite dark, but they look good imho :)
I then Proceded to give her a decent clean, Started with Snowfoam, then washed using the two bucket method and lambswool mitt. Then I gave it a coat of Auto Glym super resin polish worked in until it went clear. Buffed off then followed by a coat of Collinite 915. The sunroof and windscreen were then treated with G-Techniq nano-coat. Not a huge amount of work but it gave ok results.

The day after I decided the inside needed a good overhaul too. Front seats were taken out and I attacked the carpets and matts with the hoover!
Actually quiet spacious once the drivers and passenger seats are out ;)

Anyone one know what this is?

A week later, after taking a late night drive around some back roads, I suffered the inevitable...
2013-04-07_21_22_36.jpg

Word of warning, the Continental Comfort kit isnt that good at all. The silicone and Latex mix did not even set and just p*ssed out of the bead around the rim. Even when the tyre was re-inflated.
But it was an excuse to get 2 new Hankook Ventus V12 Evos :D

And Finnaly, Ive been meaning to record and upload a video for ages.. so I recorded and uploaded it today :D

Enjoy!
