best company imo is endsleigh, tesco's own insurance is fairly good aswell but for some reason wouldnt quote me on the comparison website

+1 for me too, over £170 cheaper than any other company I got a quote from, and would fully cover 2 addresses (even cheaper if I only wanted one but I needed the uni address covering too!)

I found that Direct Line was the cheapest
£1690 full comp for the year with a 1.1 Punto, compared to 2k almost everywhere else
And you get 30% off with Passplus

I found Quinn not tobe the cheapest. Mine insurance is £500 for my Cinq SX at the moment with Admiral. I found its a bit cheaper ifI put my mum as a named driver. It means I will be more sensible as my mum can drive it??!!

No it means half the time the car will be driven by someone with a long, clean and enviable driving history (and the other half by a new young driver who's very likely to write the car off - nothing personal that's just the way they see it BTW).

How much did putting your mum on bring it down by?

My dad only brought mine down by £15 or £19 iirc

Checked....Norwich Union. Seem to give me best price and lots of nice little extras Will have to change though when I change car. Cos i know then...they would rip my eyes out
