just read 2.4 diesel 5 cylinder marea cam belt change is an engine out job is this true

Can be done in situ with some difficulty - talk to BV Rees in Cardigan.

there is usually a dodge.. like removing an engine mount, and swinging the engie to one side,
most fiat / alfa indy's will be reasonable on this

I wouldn't trust a general garage.. as they are likely to disturb too much stuff.. leading to future problems,

Marea service manuals show the timing belt replacement while engine in car for the 2.4TD, only the strut tower mount removed.

JTD should be same 10v engine with just different injection and turbo so the job should be same?
