Hey Fiat Forum, my first post on here! Glad to be part of the community.
First things first, I'm the proud owner of a 1.2 MK2 Punto, it's my first car and I can't wait to take my test in two weeks (wish me luck) to take her (the car that is!) out. Took the Punto for its first MOT yesterday, passed, so all happy there.
Now let's get down to business...
I have £200 (Excluding fitting/wiring costs) to spend on a decent audio system. The Punto currently has the standard blaukpunt tape player, 165mm woofers, and the tweeters located in the doors. As we all know these are rubbish to say the least. Did some searching around the net for some speakers and a head unit and was wondering if anyone could help me out and advise me on what to do...
So to replace the head unit...

I like this headunit because it can directly connect up to my iPod and once I get bored of the iPod it can happily accept any aux in for any new mp3 player.
Then speaker wise, I'm looking for nice quality, nothing too loud and powerful, I just simply want to enjoy the music...
to replace the 165mm door speakers,

I don't know much about them, wondering if anyone has ever purchased these? Or know if they're utter tat!??
and then was thinking about sticking some small speakers in the rear slots, 100mm I believe?

One problem though, I don't know if this is common with many Puntos but there are no rear speaker wires. I haven't pulled out the headunit yet to check if there's any behind there. There's simply rear speaker grills.
I will be purchasing everything in around 2 weeks from now, if anyone can give me tips, advice etc, that would be greatfully appreciated!
I don't know much about car audio systems also. :bang:
Cheers for reading this long post,
