most people use the 899c throttle body BOBS to make there own induction kits for the 1.1 so if the induction kit goes on 1.1 throttle body the 899c throttle body must be the same size

its only a focus induction kit get one for an 899 they make one

Thats the name of the kit 'focus induction kit' it has nothing to do with a ford focus

its a cheap generic kit that fits a lot of vehicles

its long and wide, i am unsure if the bolt patterns line up, it might throw out your ECU also

they are selling them for a 1108, not an 899, if they were for an 899 they would advertise it for one

It should fit, the elbow is held onto the throttle body with a big jubilee clip, so no bolts, only thing you may need is a breather filter. It's similar to mine, search for a thread called my free new dash, there's a pic in there. Mine has a link pipe for the breather tho so I don't think its the same kit, and its a 1.1 mpi.

oh so it could work??? would be ace. Cheaperst by far could i not just put a breather filter coming off the head then plug up the induction hose part???

my bad, I was using the net on my phone when I answered so didn't have a great look. it looks like theres a bit on the crome pipe for the breather to fit onto, so it should just plug and play, their cheap enouth anyway, give it a go, you can always sell it on if it doesnt work.

From what I've come to understand with these kits there are 2 versions - one that fits an SPi (Cinq and early Sei) and one that fits the MPi Sei. I got one 2nd hand from ronnieronson which was the MPi fitting, meaning I had to fanny about with a bob and other bits to make it fit.
Moral of the story? Measure the opening that the elbow needs to cover and ask the seller to clarify the inner diameter of the elbow. If the numbers match then go ahead and order, otherwise keep looking.

well you are looking at a 1108 kit asking if it fits an 899, why not just look for auctions for 899 kits?

because to find a 899cc kit on ebay is rare, there stupidly expensive and dont look that good. For something thats not going to gain me any power on a poxy 0.9 for £100 upwards is pointless, therefore i was hoping this cheap kit at £30 would fit
