Technical wont stop in 3rd gear

i have got a 2000 seicento sportingwith a problem when trying to select 3rd gear it wont engage if i hold it there it will run in 3rd but if i let go it jumps out can anyone help with the problem is it a new gear box clutch how easy to fix

How is the gearbox oil level/quality?

not too sure will low levels stop it engaging in to only one gear all the others are fine

If you haven't been keeping an eye on your oil level, the box could be worn.
