Technical wont start, just stopped.

This happened to me, but since you mention no other symptoms you have to find them. My headgasket blew when IDLING... and caused an uncompressed mixture to be ignited - the gasket was torn between two cylinders. I doubt it is your problem, as you don´t mention backfire through and UP the air intake.

Remove air filter and get someone to see if petrol is injected. If not, check fuel pump, and filter.

Eh-hm, the ancient piece of wisdom goes that either there is nothing to burn, or there is no way to ignite the fuel
If it just went off, my bet would be more on electrics than fuel. First of all, I would check whether the spark plugs... spark.
However, when my timing belt went to see its creator (or, more precisely, its tensioner bearing), it had the same symptoms... :yuck:

My 45 Fire cut out at some lights the other week and would turn over but not fire afterwards.

The problem was eventually diagnosed as the Ignition Coil so I got a new one for £22 and 5 minutes later voila!

I realise afterwards that my little Fifi didn't actually cut out at all, I stalled it!
