Technical Uno don't want to start

Good day my fiat uno 1100 can't start while starter is swinging but when l push it start what might be the problem

Could be battery

Get someone to ‘tap’ the starter motor solenoid, (small hammer) whilst you turn the key to ‘start position’

When using starter does the engine turn over? If it does then it is most likely the battery or the battery earth straps to bodywork and to engine.
