I have purchased a 2019 Ducato based Autotrail campervan. It appears to have the mounting for fog lights in the front bumper. Does anyone know if the wiring loom is fitted for them? There are several loose connectors behind the dash but I cannot see any in the area of the fog light holes. I cannot find any wiring diagrams.

I have been investigating the same thing. The mounting for the lights looks like a standard 50mm x 100mm pattern commonly used on fog lights. Havent fount any wires so far. |I think the whole switch with menu / rear fog etc would need replaced. There is a fog light kit part number 71807353. This is only suitable for vehicles with optional foglight prep 4NF. Details on Fiatprofessional site under accesories Not sure what is in the kit. Probably need to speak to main dealer.. Might just fit aftermarker DRL in the fog light aperture. The ones from LEDCOM look simple to fit

If they weren't fitted at the factory my understanding is that the support for enabling them won't be present in the body computer (the option for fog light prep which is built in during manufacture) and you would have to order a new body computer from Fiat which has to be specifically programmed for your vehicle but with the addition of fog lamps enabled. Then there is the question of the wiring as you have identified. Modern vehicles don't have completely separate circuits for each function. Various lamps and other consumers are controlled through the body computer with operating signals sent through the canbus network.

I fitted LEDCOM DRLs to my X250 based Rapido several years ago. Easy to fit and straight forward wiring. Work well and good customer support when I needed it.
