Technical  wireless throttle control

Technical  wireless throttle control

Well

a) Why not?

But the real reason is my car is running a Styer Puch engine and who ever carried out the conversion did a crap job of setting the cable system
So before I spend money and invest loads of time sorting it with a cable system I thought it may be fun to set up a wireless system

Just curious, how would it work? Would you have some kind of throttle control button on the steering wheel or something vs using the foot pedal?

It would be a similar design to the likes of that used in the Smart car and now most modern cars

modern cars are fly by wire. ecu controls a motor on a throttle body after it receives a signal from throttle pedal, so there is wires but no cable. good luck trying to build your own toyota couldn't get it right ;)

may be remote control from a model car/plane would be easier, but if you pass some one else playing with remote control model on the same channel i don't know what will happen
