Actually if you kept it on the boil it was alright, I think I paid £40 for it on Dutch number plates but had spent all it's life in Spain so no rust. Roughly 60mph flat out and if you put up with the body lean it would do that through the bends although oldest daughter's stomach usually caused me to slow down.;)
Dad had a 602 back in 77. It went really well and would do 90. LOL It did wind up to a decent speed. I remember him showing me how it handled really well, doing a 4 wheel drift round a rather tighter than expected corner. From then on he only had himself to blame for how I drove. LOL Why did we feel the need to go from there to where we are now. Cars today use more fuel standing still than those things did flying about. You still got there, and indeed in far greater comfort.

Its why I like Prestone if you can get it. I used to make my own but it was probably explosive thinking back!
I bet E10 would do the job. Shame, it doesnt fall out of the sky free but you need to pay much less for it thant HalFrauds ready to use screen wash. Frankly, you must be MAD to even contempate paying that much for water.... If someone steals your car you just do a Bruce Willis and light the vapour trail. lol

Lol. Makes a change for it to stay on the original topic of screen wash tbh. Fiat Forum…..No.1 car forum for thread drift! 😆

consensus makes this the best simplest option id say!.
OK Im not sure why but I missed the other comments... But Prestone does seem to be a decent product. Unoffensive smell and reasonable cleaning properties/ I find these things need some water to work at their best... Like a good whisky, but only a little in very cold weather. Panda wiper jets are a bit mad being stuuck up in the air like monliths.

I find that regular cleaning of the wiper blades is a must do job and that clay blocks are the best solution to greasy screens

If anyone comes up with a better way of getting screen deposits off I will nominate them for a knighthood! I have to admit not yet having tried the various wipes. I have two a.t.m. for the building works and 1 has those grains on it. They shift silicon mastic, grease, oil, gloss paint grass residue and everything else I have tried them for so I must try the windscreens. Wipes are pricy though which is what piuts me off wasting money on useless products.

Any manufactuers want to comment?? My surmise is that if there were a good product there would be demonstrations at every single car show, and there aint! Why doesnt someone wake up to the gap in the market.
