Hi, posted this before but it didn't appear:

The passenger side washer on my 04 (53) JTD only dribbles water out, and I think the lack of resistance from it has reduced the flow on the driver's side jet - it only manages about four inches of squirt.

The washer is shaped in a 'T' formation and I think there may be an insert piece missing from it, although I can't see how it's come out or indeed what it would look like.

I also can't see how you can get them off the machine

Can anyone help?

TIA

Just pull it thats how the babboons did it in knowsley safari park on mine.

Ah well, that made me smile. I'm off to Knowlsley Park first thing in the morning. Failing that, it's put the grandchildren on the bonnet and throw em bananas

Thanks guys, I'll have a look tomorrow

They do just pull off though:D they are just sort of clipped in place with no other parts involved.

Got the same fault on mine. Got a new nozzle off ebay for about £7. Have only looked at it briefly but it looks like the black scuttle panel needs to come off to replace it because the nozzle assembly has a plastic "barb" on the bottom which needs to be pressed together to release it. Looks like the wiper arms need to come off, unless I can fit my chunky arms under the panel to do it!

When you remove the old washer jet just pull the water hose up through the hole where the jet was, then you can replace and just pop it all back in  just a thought, maybe it takes a girl to come up with the best solutions :D

Plus that's all I did when I replaced mine
