Windscreen Chip

Hi guys,

I have a chip no bigger than a 5p on my windscreen, on the drivers side at eye level. I've got it booked to be repaired but my MOT runs out before hand. It happened the other day which was quite annoying.

Every company I tried said it would be a 30-45 min job, but no-one could do it any earlier than next week, so I booked it anyway, especially with the freezing conditions outside.

Is there anyway around this, such as telling the MOT centre before hand that the work is arranged and giving them the details if need be?

phone mot place an tell them whats happened an you have booked it in to be repaired they might be ok as long as u have proof ie booking refence for job

worth getting one of these. bit late for this one but handy to have and they do work, i have done three chips so far
