Been there, done that. I find that if I have a system that's OK with Linux I tend to stick with the penguin.

Sammiboo's Windows 7 experience is not going well so far.
The laptop she bought a few months ago entitled her to a "free" Windows 7 upgrade (£12.77 post and packing). So far it's not turned up, though she has been charged for it and Windows 7 has been out for over a week.

Where is it coming from? It's possible its lost in the post so I guess chasing the supplier might be the next port of call

Hmm just put Windows 7 on my main PC.
All works fine - just one annoying glitch. In the system properties page Windows is reporting I have 18.0GB of memory! Wish I had that kind of RAM...

I got this offer aswell, they haven't shipped them yet. They send you a series of emails and you can also track where your order is. The first email should confirm your order, the next confirms acceptance of your proof of purchase and then you get one saying it has shipped. I've had the first 2 but still waiting for the last one. With Vista it took about 6 weeks after general release before it arrived.

I've got that too, with the front 'break out box' (input panel). Good card, never given me any problems

I ordered mine a about a two weeks ago, got it today, had to pay £21.99 (heh), still cheaper than buying from the shops though.

Seems OK so far, looks a lot fresher than Vista.
