yes its true 70% or something like has to come through but what im saying is that your windows already have a tint on them and by add anymore you will go over the legal limit

yeaqh watchin traffic cops the other day a women got pulled over with a brand new range rover she said that range rover themselves tinted her windows he said thats ok aslong as it lets 70% through but he got his tester out and it was only letting like 22% through unlucky lol so front tints arnt illegal ask when u getting them done

There not illegal if the professionals fit it for you and then after they have fitted it test it thats what all fully professionals do otherwise its not the driver that will get done its the professionals if there saying its been tested.
PS this is why they have different shades of tints just incase your windows come standard tinted

All is i would do is tell trading standards about them and then see whos having a jeraff then

yes whats it got to do with them your the one driving it not them. show me where it says its illegal to put the tints on.
if i run a garage and you come in and asked me to make your car unroadworthy and i do it if you then go and drive on the road with it whats that got to do with me

are you fukin thick ? rite if i pay someone to fit something for me of the " LEGAL REQUIREMENT " i shall expect it to be done correctly so if the police pull me and test it it will be all fine because its " LEGAL "

when i got the quote i asked about the law on the front sides and he said 70% light has to come threw, iv also read this on net before. but if u ask for maximum legal tint on the front and you already have standerd tint. i would guess they wouldnt put 70% on as they no it will be over legal limmit.so i would think they would put week tint on so its darker but still legal limmit if anyone understands me lol. say ur standerd front tints alow 90% light threw. then the garage sould put tints on that will cut the light by an extra 20% so its not over limmit. rather than putting 30% on and getting you fu<ked for it
they dont make a tint lighter enuf for it not to put you over the limit
Tints come in many different shades and yes they do a 20% tint they also do a 15% so no matter what you will never go over the legal requirement as-long as you make it clear to them you don't want to to over the legal requirement
PS they also do a 95% which is the lightest tint you can get

As tim says. They are tinted to limit from standard, anything to make it darker is illegal.
Most places either make you sign a disclaimer form or you agree with them verbally that if they get caught the tinter informed them that they were illegal at the time and all responsibility is on you as the car owner.

I know people with 30% tint on there 2 front side windows and never been pulled yet its alot lot darker than 95%

95% tint is still a 5% increase on standard 70% putting it at 65% which is illegal.

your assuming the window is already at 70% tint when infact its not, Prove to me that every car on the road its 2 front side windows are 70% already tinted
no you need to read his post. YOUR WINDOWS ARE TINTED TO THE LEGAL LIMIT ALREADY SO ANYMORE WILL MAKE IT OVER THE LEGAL LIMIT!!!
and as for people you no not geting pulled like i said the police dont really care as long as you dont go over the top i have my front windows tinted and they are 2shades down from being blacked out and iv been sit next to the police many time at lights and ya they have a look at me but then just drive on

UNTO windows no one said evercar but i think im right in say most do have a tint to them if you have a look. go get a white bit of paper an look at it threw your windows
