Anyone know which fuse controls this function ? Its not in the handbook

I have tried everything to reset it, holding all buttons down and up for 10 seconds or more and pressing them again while fully or and down.

I replaced the cars battery and unlike every other occasion I can't clear this message. The odd thing is, the left front window only moves slightly when you press and hold down the button to raise it from when its fully down, I have to press and hold it down a second time to get the front passenger side window to come fully up. The drivers side window does'nt do this.

Cant even see anything in ECU multiscan to reset it.

Also when holding key fob open button down, this now only opens the rear windows (both front ones stay up)

Thx David

Its now several years since I saw a Croma, is it possibly a relay fault.
If so the standard first try is pull the relay out and tap the top gently on a hard surface. This is pure guesswork, as I have no Croma stuff on the hard drive now.

Thx Keith. I have been try to solve the problem again today. I found the drivers door correct section in Multiecuscan under "other". Its showing the following fault code that wont clear... B1024 "window rise output drivers side fatal". I guess this is an electric window motor ? Anybody know if its serviceable, or how to get the irratating message off the dash?

Hi,

I don't suppose you found a solution to this? I've got a similar message for RHS rear, the window goes down ok but keeps stopping on the way up.

I wouldn't care but now there's a super - bright warning light on the dash.

Cheers.

No I still have the problem with mine. Unlike every other occasion when the battery was disconnected my window won't reset by holding the buttons down. I have a fault on the sensor which I assume might be inside the electric window motor. Just seems odd it was perfect before I replaced the cars battery

Cheers. Mine started when I tried to open the window when it was slightly frozen, and the push down to reset thing didn't work. I've just had a new clutch fitted and the battery was disconnected so I had safety messages for various windows, this time when I reset them it worked for all windows and the warning is now gone completely.

Hi, I still have this problem, I have disconnected the battery and left the car for 24hrs but it has made no difference and it still wont re-set. So the fault code that wont clear is B1024 "window rise output drivers side fatal". Can anyone tell me if the sensor is inside the electric window motor ? If so I will replace the motor, thx David

For all these, is the window slow comming up? If so that is the problem. The system senses the motor load (I'm pretty sure its by measuring the motor current but can't be 100%) to detect a trap and stop. A quick fix is to have someone help the window up by lifting it with one hand either side, not over the top (door open) while you press the button.

Ideally the guides should be cleaned and mechanism lubricated.

Good practice to operate all windows reguarly to stop them getting stiff.
