id avoid these stick on ones, they will either work loose and fall off or be stolen,

Team heko is the ones to go for, once there on they stay on,

The description in the eBay posting seems ludicrous, to me, of why not to go for the in-channel Team Heko ones.

I fitted my Punto ones 18 months ago -- and they've not budged.

not on mine they dont,

ihave window down slightly sometimes on motorway and no noise

ilike fresh air coming in with no noise, winddeflectors are good for this,

I have the genuine Fiat one's and they didn't cost much.
Even came with the correct tool for applying and removing the clips.

I have Team Heko ones on my 500 and classic Panda, both fitted without the clips and both VERY secure.

I have team heiko ones front and back, got 8 clips so they're secure as hell

Cousin had Hekos on his Freelander, when he came to sell it he tried and reckoned he couldn't remove them without breaking them or struggling with the clips for hours.

Hekos on my 100HP have been secure for months.

silly question i know but you all have me thinking about these now, quiet fancy some but looked at instrucrions for them and its mentioning peeling off sticky tape backing ?? is the so it sticks to the inside of the channel ??

There's some pre-applied double sided tape on them. It's just there to keep the clips roughly in place while you shove them up in to the window channels.

I know this is an old thread but I have questions.

1- does it not stress the window mechanism? I've had the scissor mech of my former car (a Yaris) buckle from stress after putting in channel deflectors on.

2- why are there none that simply clip over the door edge, nice and snug with some neoprene sponge. Seems a much simpler (though more complex to mould) solution that doesn't stand a chance of knackering the window rubbers.

Really want some for the Panda but previous experience has put me off in channel ones.
