Technical AUTO windows learning procedure

Hi everyone. I replaced the rattling window regulator mechanism on the front right door. The mechanism had already been replaced before with an unknown Chinese type. I also noticed that inside the door there were rubber guides that hold the window when it is lowered into the door. I cleaned everything, put the rubber guides back into the plastic holders, and installed a new window regulator. The window now moves smoothly and nicely.
However, I lost the automatic up/down function. Now I have to hold the button the entire time for the window to move. Before, I only had to hold the button for 2 seconds and the rest was automatic.
Is there a specific procedure to reactivate this function? The left side works in automatic mode without any issues.

Here in the UK it's only on the driver's window

I only had the active and dynamic models, so can only comment on them

There is no way I know of in changing this, as far as I know

It was a safety feature as there is no anti-pinch sensors on the windows.

I don't know if any of the higher end models were different or different on left hand drive markets

I understand. Now I’m slightly unsure whether it really worked even before the window regulator mechanism was replaced. Yes, here the passenger sits on the right and the driver on the left
