I have started to get wind coming in front the drivers door that is driving me nuts
I know the door is aligned properly but cannot work out if it from the where the window meets the door or from around the frame,it gets worse around 50+ that's why I am having trouble locating it,anyone else had this problem.

3-door or 5-door? I have 3-door and while I wouldn't call it a 'blast' there is a rustle/whistle from behind the drver's head (top right, as you look at the window from the inside). I once test drove a Multi Wagon and that had terrible wind noise from the same position (different doors from the 3-door though).

I too have a slight wind noise from that area but only really at moterway speeds and it doesnt bother me too much not like some i have had in the past though.

I think the top of the door doesnt compress the seal enough hence the noise, have thought about pushing top of door in slightly but never got round to it so just live with it.

Possibly the door seal rubber has permanently compressed at some point.

Garages/bodyshops used to use an ultrasonic emmiter and detector to locate air gaps around the passenger compartment, but if you manœuvre a thin strip of paper at various locations between the seal and door, it would show any loose areas.

Also, when I had my old Croma Turbo, there were some sponge blocks jammed up inside the top rear corners of the front wings. I didn't know why they were there and took them out. That caused a lot of wind noise in the car so I put them back again. I seem to remember someone posting before about mystery plastic bags of sponge tucked up somewhere in the Stilo.

You dont have a sky roof do you? I thought for ages that my drivers door was doing this but could never find it, but then discovered it was the roof. Also, a roll of masking tape is a very good way to find it. Just mask a section of door seal and drive, then if it is not fixed, mask a bit more till you get to the problem point.
