I'm the person who asked him to make a Mani for my 16v conversion, after he spoke tomyself, Todger182 and my dad (ex-engineer) he said he probably wouldnt touch another cento. Just dont mention my name and youll probably be okay
Personally had no end of trouble with it, three trips to and from Walsall, they tried to copy Todger's Supersprint mani and couldnt do it, ended up taking my engine with me for them to make it on but due to rising costs etc i opted for the SS mani instead.
John is a friendly guy and will help, im not slating him or his business at all. Just from personal experience i wont be using them again, hopefully will be better for you

I have more pictures of measurements etc that i can post up if anybody wants them.
Arc posted up some pictures of the slam pannel gap for his 8v - Clicky
John will probably ask youto take the car, or just the engine, to his and get them to build it on the engine itself.
For ease of use etc id suggest trying to find a Supersprint one, will save you alot of time and hassle; it does fit, does a performance gain (though as Blu has already said its not going to massive on its own), plus its in stainless whilst the JA one you have linked will be in mild steel. JA charges about £50 more for it in stainless, so about £230 in all, whilst supersprint arent actually that much more expensive.
Supersprint manis from Gazzella are £299 + postage - Clicky
From Motorsport World £243 + £14.50 postage - Clicky
CSC have them for €461, which is roughly £394 + postage - Clicky
Or has already been said get yourself an old P75 manifold and get it cut to fit. Whatever way you do it, youll need an exhaust building with a cat for MOT time.
I mean no disrespect to you but after seeing youve not long past your test, id concentrate on getting a few years no claims and learning to maintain and keep the car in top condition. At least youre a little older, so once you do declare all this to your insurance company, your premium shouldnt increase too much but make sure they will cover you before you start adding 'performance increasing' parts.
Why do you want to swap to a different exhaust mani, what are your future plans for the project?
Dont be put off by me asking questions, just that you wont get the fullest answers possible unless you state what you want to do. There is such a wealth of knowledgable users in the cento section who will be willing to help if they have a better idea of what you want to do. Maybe start a new thread with your prospective plans and ideas and we can give our views/experience/opinions?
Hope some of that helped you
