Will it or wont it loose the remap (JTD)

Just been wondering if i had a remap on a JTD then a year later i was to have the cambelt done, would the ecu be reset and id have another remap done?

Should be getting a JTD in a few days if all well, and it would be nice to know. Thanx.

And its not the one advertised on here so goodluck to Lozz on getting that one. Shame bout car, it looked good.

a cambelt change will not cause the car to lose the remap. The only thing that will cause teh car to lose the remap would be replacing the ECU or getting it remapped again

No, mine's fine. It resets to the tuned state.

The only way you would lose a remap is if you lose your ECU
Its stored on your ECU in the same way your original map is, its an over write.
