im looking at the 1.8 16v hlx, and it seems there is 2 listed for them? a 115 hlx, and a 1.8 hlx. Both the same arent they?
it shows the 1.8 is a good engine =)

My 1.8 was a fantasic engine and quite quick it had a decat and the exhaust only had one middle box on it with a pipe to the rear and a home made induction kit

The 1.8's differ depending on the age as with the 20V's. Mk1 HLX is called the 1.8 HLX whereas the MK2's are 115 HLX. Dunno why though??

I know that the MK1 1.8 HLX had a different Throttle Body and intake system and had an ABS system which ran on Spigot rings... where as the Later MK2 had ABS\EBD which was electronic\magnetic the TB and intake was also different...
