Hello. I am a boy of Spain, I have a " Fiat Bravo GT JTD 105hp", with lower hard and soft shock absorbers.
I have the original wheel of 15", and in two days I am going to mount the front brakes of "Fiat Bravo HGT", of 287mm.
Know you if I will have some problem of friction in the 15"rim?
Thank you very much.
I feel my level of Ingles.

PD: We have a Club Fiat Bravo in Spain, I leave the direction them in case they want to do a visit to us www.clubfiatbravo.com

Re: Untitled

If the brakes rub on your 15's get bigger wheels!!
And if one of you lovely spanish bravo owners would welcome me and a few into their homes for a week or two i would happily come visit!

Re: Untitled

jejeje, the problem is that right now I do not have money to buy new wheels :(

You like Spain? jeje.

Re: Untitled

I ove spain ini mate!!!

If i was you i would carefully measure the size of the discs and the space available in the wheel.

If there is not enough i would leave it until you can afford bigger wheels!

I have a 1.6 and i bought some grooved and drilled discs as well as red-dot pads from alfangie (angeltuning.co.uk)

They have made a fantastic difference and worth the money!!

Re: Untitled

I live next to Madrid, in Toledo.

Fiat Bravo HGT of series I know that it took the 15"rims, like I, so that what at first it would not have of having no problem, but it wanted to assure to me before.

A friend buy the brakes of Bravo HGT for a Fiat One Turbo I that he has, with 190hp jeje, but they are not worth to him, then it will remain with my brakes of the JTD and I with those of the HGT.

To see if he leaves a photo my car...

Re: Untitled

I am sure the HGT only came with 15" alloys so they should fit, measure them and measure your existing discs.

Re: Untitled

Thanks, I hope that yes they enter and they do not give any problem me.
I will already tell them what so restrains the car, as well as photos of the process.
It stops within a time, I want to also put the system to him of back braking disk based, of the HGT jeje.
A hug very hard from Spain, and thank you very much. We are in contact with the enemy.

Re: Untitled

the disks will fit the calipers wont! the bolt holes are different between the hgt and lower models
